Serbian SuperLiga
The Serbian SuperLiga is the top professional football league in Serbia. Established in 2006, it features 16 teams competing for the championship title. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Prva Liga, the second tier of Serbian football.
Matches are typically held from August to May, with each team playing 30 games in a round-robin format. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion. The league is known for its passionate fan base and historic rivalries, particularly between Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade.
