Sendai-Class
The Sendai-Class is a class of guided missile destroyers used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). Designed for anti-air and anti-surface warfare, these ships are equipped with advanced radar and missile systems, enhancing Japan's naval capabilities. The class includes three ships: JS Sendai, JS Ashigara, and JS Kumano, which were commissioned between 2011 and 2013.
Each Sendai-Class destroyer features a stealthy design and is capable of operating in various maritime environments. They are armed with the Aegis Combat System, allowing for effective defense against aerial threats, and can also engage surface targets using their onboard missile systems.
