Self-Cleaning Ovens
A self-cleaning oven is a kitchen appliance designed to clean itself using high temperatures. During the self-cleaning cycle, the oven heats up to around 900°F (482°C), turning food residue into ash. This process makes it easy to wipe away the remnants after the cycle is complete.
There are typically two methods for self-cleaning: pyrolytic and steam cleaning. Pyrolytic cleaning involves intense heat, while steam cleaning uses water to create steam that loosens grime. Both methods save time and effort compared to traditional scrubbing, making oven maintenance more convenient for users.
