Secretariat
Secretariat was a famous American Thoroughbred racehorse, born in 1970. He is best known for winning the Triple Crown in 1973, which includes the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. Secretariat set records in all three races, with his Belmont Stakes time still standing today.
Trained by Lucien Laurin and owned by Penny Chenery, Secretariat became a cultural icon and is often regarded as one of the greatest racehorses in history. His remarkable speed and stamina captivated fans, and he was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1974.
