Seasonal Cycles
Seasonal cycles refer to the regular changes in climate and environment that occur throughout the year, primarily influenced by the tilt of the Earth's axis and its orbit around the Sun. These cycles create distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, each characterized by specific weather patterns, temperatures, and daylight hours.
During spring, temperatures rise, leading to blooming flowers and new plant growth. Summer brings warmer weather and longer days, while autumn is marked by falling temperatures and leaves changing color. Finally, winter features colder temperatures and shorter days, often resulting in snow in many regions.
