Seafood Watch
Seafood Watch is a program created by the Monterey Bay Aquarium that helps consumers make informed choices about seafood. It provides recommendations on which seafood options are sustainable and environmentally friendly, based on fishing practices and the health of fish populations.
The program categorizes seafood into three groups: green for sustainable choices, yellow for those that are okay but should be consumed with caution, and red for options to avoid. By using the Seafood Watch guidelines, individuals can support responsible fishing and contribute to the health of ocean ecosystems.
