Sea Dart
The Sea Dart is a British surface-to-air missile system designed for naval use. Developed in the 1960s, it was primarily intended to protect ships from aircraft and missile attacks. The missile is guided by a radar system, allowing it to track and intercept targets effectively.
The Sea Dart was deployed on various Royal Navy ships, including the Type 42 destroyers. It has a range of approximately 70 kilometers and can reach speeds of up to Mach 3. Although it has been largely replaced by more advanced systems, the Sea Dart played a significant role in naval defense during its operational years.
