Scout Leader
A Scout Leader is an adult volunteer who guides and supports youth in scouting programs, such as those offered by the Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts. Their primary role is to facilitate activities, teach skills, and promote values like teamwork, leadership, and community service. Scout Leaders often organize camping trips, community service projects, and educational workshops.
In addition to planning activities, Scout Leaders are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the scouts. They work closely with parents and other volunteers to create a positive environment where young people can learn and grow. Training and certification may be required to ensure leaders are well-prepared for their responsibilities.
