Scottish Terriers
Scottish Terriers, often called "Scotties," are a small breed of dog known for their distinctive appearance and strong personality. They have a wiry coat, typically black, brindle, or wheaten, and a sturdy, compact body. Originally bred in Scotland for hunting vermin, they are known for their intelligence and independence.
These dogs are loyal and protective, making them excellent companions. Scottish Terriers are generally good with families but can be reserved around strangers. Regular exercise and mental stimulation are important for their well-being, as they can become bored and stubborn if not properly engaged.
