Scottish Golf Union
The Scottish Golf Union (SGU) is the governing body for amateur golf in Scotland. Established in 1905, it oversees the organization and promotion of golf across the country, ensuring the sport's development and integrity. The SGU works with clubs, players, and other organizations to enhance the golfing experience and maintain high standards in competitions.
In addition to managing national championships, the SGU provides support and resources for golfers of all ages and skill levels. It also collaborates with the R&A, the sport's global governing body, to promote golf and its values both domestically and internationally.
