Scarlett Fever
Scarlet fever is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Streptococcus pyogenes, which also causes strep throat. It typically affects children between the ages of 5 and 15. Symptoms include a bright red rash, fever, sore throat, and a "strawberry" tongue. The rash usually starts on the neck and face before spreading to the rest of the body.
The disease is spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Scarlet fever can be treated effectively with antibiotics, which help reduce symptoms and prevent complications. If left untreated, it can lead to more serious health issues, such as rheumatic fever or kidney problems.
