Scarborough Bluffs
The Scarborough Bluffs are a series of towering cliffs located along the northern shore of Lake Ontario in Scarborough, a district of Toronto, Canada. These natural formations rise up to 65 meters (about 213 feet) above the lake and stretch for approximately 15 kilometers (9 miles). The bluffs are composed of soft sedimentary rock, which has been shaped by erosion over thousands of years.
The area surrounding the bluffs is home to several parks and recreational spaces, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the lake, hiking trails, and picnic areas. The Scarborough Bluffs also support diverse wildlife, including various bird species and plants native to the region.
