Saterland Frisian
Saterland Frisian is a West Germanic language spoken in the Saterland region of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a minority language, primarily used by the Saterland Frisian community, and is considered a remnant of the historical Frisian languages.
The language has its own unique characteristics and is distinct from both Standard German and other Frisian dialects. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote Saterland Frisian through education and cultural initiatives, as it faces challenges from the dominance of German in everyday life.
