Saprissa
Saprissa is a professional football club based in San José, Costa Rica. Founded in 1935, it is one of the most successful teams in the country, known for its distinctive purple and white colors. The club plays its home games at the Estadio Ricardo Saprissa, which has a capacity of around 23,000 spectators.
The team has won numerous national championships and has a strong following among fans. Saprissa has also competed in international tournaments, representing Costa Rica in events like the CONCACAF Champions League. Its rivalry with Alajuelense is one of the most intense in Central American football.
