Santiago Apostol
Santiago Apostol, also known as Saint James, is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He is often recognized as the patron saint of Spain and is celebrated for his role in spreading Christianity. According to tradition, he was martyred in Jerusalem and later his remains were believed to be buried in Santiago de Compostela, a city that has become a major pilgrimage site.
