Santa Teresa di Lisieux
Santa Teresa di Lisieux, also known as Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, was a French nun born on January 2, 1873. She is known for her simple yet profound approach to spirituality, emphasizing love and trust in God. Her autobiography, titled Story of a Soul, outlines her "little way" of spiritual childhood, which encourages people to seek holiness through small acts of love.
Thérèse entered the Carmelite Order at a young age and spent most of her life in the convent. She passed away on September 30, 1897, at the age of 24. Canonized in 1925, she is now one of the most popular saints in the Catholic Church, recognized as a Doctor of the Church in 1997.
