Sanguozhi
The "Sanguozhi," or "Records of the Three Kingdoms," is a historical text written by the Chinese historian Chen Shou in the third century. It chronicles the events and figures of the Three Kingdoms period, which lasted from 220 to 280 AD. The work is divided into three main sections, each focusing on one of the kingdoms: Wei, Shu, and Wu.
This text is considered one of the most important sources for understanding the Three Kingdoms era. It provides detailed accounts of key figures such as Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Quan, as well as significant battles and political developments during this tumultuous time in Chinese history.
