San Salvador Volcano
San Salvador Volcano, also known as Ilamatepeq, is an active stratovolcano located in El Salvador. It rises approximately 1,913 meters (6,312 feet) above sea level and is part of the Central American Volcanic Arc. The volcano has a large caldera formed by previous eruptions, with the most significant activity occurring in the 18th and 19th centuries.
