Salomon Sorowitsch
Salomon Sorowitsch was a Jewish counterfeiter during World War II, known for his exceptional skills in producing fake currency. He was born in Berlin and became involved in counterfeiting as a means of survival after the Nazi regime began persecuting Jews.
Captured by the Nazis, Sorowitsch was sent to the Dachau concentration camp, where he was forced to work on a secret project to create counterfeit British pounds. His expertise in forgery made him a valuable asset to the Nazis, but it also placed him in a precarious position as he navigated the dangers of the Holocaust.
