Salat
Salat is the Islamic practice of ritual prayer, performed five times a day by Muslims. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, which are fundamental acts of worship. Each prayer consists of a sequence of movements and recitations, including verses from the Quran. The prayers are performed facing the Kaaba in Mecca.
The five daily prayers are Fajr (pre-dawn), Dhuhr (midday), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (evening), and Isha (night). Each prayer has a specific time frame and is an opportunity for Muslims to connect with Allah and seek guidance. Salat serves as a reminder of faith and discipline in daily life.
