Sakyamuni Buddha
Sakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, was a spiritual leader who lived in ancient India around the 5th to 4th century BCE. He is the founder of Buddhism and is revered as the "Enlightened One." After years of seeking truth and understanding, he attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, and began teaching the path to liberation from suffering.
His teachings emphasize the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, which guide followers toward achieving nirvana, a state of ultimate peace and freedom from the cycle of rebirth. Sakyamuni Buddha's life and teachings continue to inspire millions around the world.
