Sajama National Park
Sajama National Park is located in western Bolivia, near the border with Chile. Established in 2009, it covers an area of approximately 1,200 square kilometers and is known for its stunning landscapes, including the highest peak in Bolivia, Nevado Sajama, which rises to 6,542 meters.
The park is home to diverse wildlife, including the endangered Andean condor and the llama. It features unique ecosystems, such as high-altitude grasslands and wetlands, making it an important area for conservation. Visitors can enjoy activities like hiking, birdwatching, and exploring ancient Aymara ruins within the park.
