Saint Stanislaus Kostka
Saint Stanislaus Kostka was a Polish Jesuit novice born on December 28, 1550. He is known for his deep spirituality and commitment to his faith from a young age. Despite facing opposition from his family, he pursued a religious life and joined the Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, in 1567.
Stanislaus is often remembered for his dedication to prayer and his mystical experiences. He died at the young age of 17 on August 15, 1568, and was canonized by Pope Benedict XIII in 1726. His feast day is celebrated on November 13.
