Saint Gaspar del Bufalo
Saint Gaspar del Bufalo was an Italian priest born on January 6, 1786, in Rome. He founded the Congregation of the Most Precious Blood in 1815, which focused on missionary work and the spiritual formation of its members. His life was dedicated to preaching and promoting devotion to the Precious Blood of Christ.
Gaspar was known for his deep spirituality and commitment to serving the poor and marginalized. He traveled extensively throughout Italy, spreading the message of faith and compassion. He passed away on December 28, 1837, and was canonized by Pope Pius IX in 1954, recognized for his contributions to the Church and society.
