Saint Chad
Saint Chad was a 7th-century bishop known for his role in spreading Christianity in England. He was born in Northumbria and became a monk at the monastery of Lindisfarne. Later, he was appointed the first bishop of Lichfield, where he worked to establish the Christian faith among the Anglo-Saxon people.
Chad was recognized for his humility and dedication to his mission. He was a contemporary of other notable figures like Saint Cedd, his brother, and Saint Aidan, who also contributed to the Christianization of England. Saint Chad is celebrated on March 2nd, and his legacy continues to inspire many.
