Saint Antoninus
Saint Antoninus, also known as Saint Antoninus of Florence, was an Italian bishop and theologian born in 1389. He became the Archbishop of Florence in 1446 and was known for his dedication to the church and his efforts in reforming the clergy. He was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church during the Renaissance period.
He is recognized for his writings, particularly the "Summa Theologica," which addressed moral and ethical issues. Saint Antoninus was canonized in 1523 and is celebrated for his commitment to social justice and care for the poor. His feast day is observed on May 10.
