The Sahtu Settlement Area is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. It covers approximately 280,000 square kilometers and includes the communities of Tulita, Deline, Fort Good Hope, Norman Wells, and Colville Lake. Established through the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement in 1993, the Sahtu Settlement Area recognizes the rights of the Sahtu Dene and Metis peoples.
