Sa'id ibn Abi Waqqas
Sa'id ibn Abi Waqqas was a prominent companion of the Prophet Muhammad and one of the early converts to Islam. Born in 595 CE in Mecca, he belonged to the Banu Zuhra tribe. Sa'id played a significant role in the early Muslim community and was known for his military leadership during the Battle of Uhud and the Battle of Qadisiyyah, where he led the Muslim forces against the Sassanian Empire.
He is also recognized as one of the ten companions promised paradise by the Prophet. Sa'id ibn Abi Waqqas was known for his piety and dedication to Islam, and he later became the governor of Kufa in Iraq. He passed away in 674 CE in the city of Medina.
