SWAT operations
SWAT operations, or Special Weapons and Tactics operations, are specialized law enforcement activities designed to handle high-risk situations. These can include hostage rescues, armed standoffs, and counter-terrorism efforts. SWAT teams are equipped with advanced weapons and tactical gear, allowing them to respond effectively to dangerous scenarios.
Typically, SWAT teams are called in when regular police units are unable to manage a situation safely. They undergo extensive training in areas such as negotiation, breaching techniques, and close-quarters combat. Their goal is to resolve incidents with minimal risk to both officers and civilians.
