SS France
The SS France was a French ocean liner launched in 1960, known for its luxurious amenities and speed. It was designed to carry passengers between Europe and North America, primarily on the Transatlantic route. The ship was notable for its sleek, modern design and was one of the largest passenger ships of its time.
In 1974, the SS France was retired from service and later renamed the Norway after being sold to a new owner. The ship continued to operate as a cruise liner until it was ultimately scrapped in 2008, marking the end of an era for transatlantic travel.
