SJHL
The SJHL, or Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, is a junior ice hockey league based in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is part of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and features teams primarily composed of players aged 16 to 20. The league aims to develop young talent and provide a pathway to higher levels of hockey, including collegiate and professional opportunities.
Founded in 1968, the SJHL has a rich history and has produced many successful players who have gone on to play in the NHL and other professional leagues. The league consists of several teams that compete for the Canalta Cup, awarded to the playoff champion each season.
