SAMR Model
The SAMR Model is a framework designed to help educators integrate technology into their teaching practices. It consists of four levels: Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. Each level represents a different degree of technology use, from simply replacing traditional tools to transforming learning experiences.
At the Substitution level, technology acts as a direct substitute for traditional methods, while Augmentation enhances the learning experience with added features. Modification allows for significant task redesign, and Redefinition enables the creation of new tasks that were previously inconceivable, fostering deeper engagement and collaboration among students.
