Sālote Tupou II
Sālote Tupou II was the Queen of Tonga from 1918 until her death in 1965. She was born on March 4, 1900, and was the daughter of King Tupou I, the first king of modern Tonga. Sālote was known for her strong leadership and dedication to her people, playing a significant role in the development of the Tongan nation during her reign.
Queen Sālote was also recognized for her efforts in promoting education and health in Tonga. She was a prominent figure in international relations, representing her country at various events, including the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
