Russo-Swedish War
The Russo-Swedish War (1741-1743) was a conflict between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Russian Empire. It arose from territorial disputes and Sweden's desire to regain influence in the Baltic region after losing ground in previous wars. The war saw several battles, with both sides experiencing victories and losses.
The conflict ended with the Treaty of Åbo in 1743, which resulted in territorial concessions for Sweden. Russia gained control over parts of Finland, solidifying its presence in the region. This war marked a significant moment in the ongoing struggle for dominance in Northern Europe between these two powers.
