Royal Auxiliary Air Force
The Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF) is a reserve component of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the United Kingdom. It was established in 1924 to provide additional support and personnel during times of need. Members of the RAuxAF are trained to operate alongside regular RAF units, contributing to various missions and operations.
The RAuxAF consists of volunteer reservists who typically serve part-time while maintaining civilian careers. They undergo military training and can be called upon to assist in national defense, humanitarian missions, and other operations as required by the government.
