Rotfrontkämpferbund
The Rotfrontkämpferbund (RFB) was a paramilitary organization in Germany, formed in 1924 by the German Communist Party (KPD). It aimed to protect the interests of the working class and counteract the rise of fascism. The RFB consisted mainly of workers and leftist activists who organized demonstrations and engaged in street battles against right-wing groups.
The organization was active during the Weimar Republic and played a significant role in the political violence of the time. However, it faced repression from the state and was ultimately dissolved in 1933 after the rise of the Nazi Party, which led to the establishment of a totalitarian regime in Germany.
