Rosin
Rosin is a solid form of resin obtained from pine trees and other conifers. It is produced by heating the sap to evaporate the volatile components, leaving behind a sticky, amber-colored substance. Rosin is commonly used in various applications, including as a grip enhancer for musicians playing string instruments, in the production of varnishes, and as a flux in soldering.
In addition to its practical uses, rosin is also a key ingredient in the production of certain types of adhesives and inks. Its unique properties make it valuable in the cosmetics industry as well, where it is used in products like hair sprays and skin adhesives.
