Rose Wilder Lane
Rose Wilder Lane was an American author and journalist, born on December 5, 1886, in De Smet, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder, the famous author of the Little House on the Prairie series. Rose played a significant role in her mother's writing career, helping to edit and promote her books.
In addition to her work with her mother, Rose was a prolific writer in her own right. She published novels, short stories, and articles, often focusing on themes of individualism and freedom. Lane was also involved in the American libertarian movement and contributed to the development of modern libertarian thought.
