Rodolfo Graziani
Rodolfo Graziani was an Italian general born on August 23, 1882, in the province of Arezzo. He is best known for his role during the Second Italo-Ethiopian War (1935-1936) and World War II. Graziani was a key figure in Italy's military campaigns in East Africa and served as the Governor-General of Italian East Africa.
Graziani's military strategies were often controversial, particularly due to his use of harsh tactics against Ethiopian resistance. After the fall of Mussolini's regime, he was captured by Allied forces in 1943. Graziani died on January 20, 1974, in Rome.
