Robert the Pious
Robert the Pious was a king of the Franks who ruled from 996 to 1031. He was the son of Hugh Capet, the founder of the Capetian dynasty, and he is known for his pious nature and dedication to the church. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the monarchy and expand the influence of the Catholic Church in France.
During his rule, Robert faced challenges from powerful nobles and internal conflicts. He was married to Rozala of Italy, but their union was complicated by political alliances. Despite these challenges, Robert's commitment to his faith and governance left a lasting impact on the French monarchy.
