Rila National Park
Rila National Park is located in southwestern Bulgaria and is part of the Rila Mountains. Established in 1992, it covers an area of approximately 1,628 square kilometers, making it the largest national park in the country. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, including forests, alpine meadows, and glacial lakes, such as the famous Seven Rila Lakes.
