Right-to-Left Languages
Right-to-left languages are those in which text is read and written from the right side of the page to the left. Examples of these languages include Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. This orientation affects not only the direction of the text but also the layout of books, websites, and other written materials.
In addition to the unique reading direction, right-to-left languages often have different character sets and grammatical structures compared to left-to-right languages like English or Spanish. Understanding these differences is essential for effective communication and design in multilingual contexts.
