Right Ovary
The right ovary is one of two ovaries in the female reproductive system, located on the right side of the pelvis. Ovaries are responsible for producing eggs and hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone, which regulate the menstrual cycle and support reproductive health.
Each ovary is about the size of an almond and is connected to the uterus by the fallopian tubes. The right ovary plays a crucial role in ovulation, where an egg is released for potential fertilization. It also contributes to the overall hormonal balance necessary for various bodily functions.
