Right Iliac Artery
The Right Iliac Artery is a major blood vessel that branches off from the Abdominal Aorta. It supplies oxygenated blood to the right side of the pelvis and lower limbs. This artery is crucial for delivering nutrients and oxygen to the tissues in these areas.
As it descends, the Right Iliac Artery divides into two smaller arteries: the Right Internal Iliac Artery and the Right External Iliac Artery. The internal branch supplies blood to the pelvic organs, while the external branch continues down to the thigh, becoming the Femoral Artery.
