Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick
Richard Neville, Earl of Warwick (1428-1471), was a prominent English nobleman during the Wars of the Roses. Known as the "Kingmaker," he played a crucial role in the power struggles between the House of Lancaster and the House of York. Warwick was instrumental in the rise of Edward IV to the throne and later fell out with him, leading to a series of conflicts.
Warwick was born into a powerful family and inherited vast estates, which he used to build alliances. His military prowess and political acumen made him a key figure in 15th-century England, influencing the course of the monarchy until his death at the Battle of Barnet.
