Richard FitzAlan, 9th Earl of Arundel
Richard FitzAlan, 9th Earl of Arundel (c. 1346–1397), was a prominent English nobleman during the late 14th century. He was the son of Richard FitzAlan, 8th Earl of Arundel and Eleanor of Lancaster. Richard played a significant role in the political landscape of England, particularly during the reign of King Richard II.
As a loyal supporter of the king, FitzAlan was involved in various military campaigns and held several important positions, including serving as a member of the House of Lords. His life was marked by both political intrigue and conflict, ultimately leading to his execution in 1397 due to his opposition to the king's policies.
