Rewritable CDs
Rewritable CDs, or CD-RWs, are a type of compact disc that allows users to write and erase data multiple times. Unlike standard CDs, which can only be written once, CD-RWs can be reused, making them a flexible option for storing files, music, and other digital content.
These discs typically hold up to 700 MB of data and can be rewritten around 1,000 times. To use a CD-RW, a compatible CD writer is needed, along with software that supports rewriting. This makes CD-RWs a practical choice for temporary storage or for users who frequently update their data.
