Rev. Sun Myung Moon
Rev. Sun Myung Moon was a Korean religious leader born on January 6, 1920, in what is now North Korea. He founded the Unification Church in 1954, which promotes the idea of world peace through the concept of a "True Family." Moon emphasized the importance of marriage and family values in achieving spiritual and social harmony.
Moon was also known for his business ventures and political activities, including the establishment of the Washington Times newspaper. He passed away on September 3, 2012, but his teachings and organizations continue to influence many followers around the world.
