Republic of Srpska
The Republic of Srpska is one of the two entities that make up the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Established in 1992 during the Bosnian War, it has its own government and administrative structure. The capital city is Banja Luka, which serves as the political and cultural center of the region.
The Republic of Srpska is predominantly inhabited by the Serb ethnic group and operates under a parliamentary system. It has its own laws and institutions, but it is still subject to the overarching framework of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was established by the Dayton Agreement in 1995.
