Regions of Sweden
Sweden is divided into three main regions: Norrland, Svealand, and Götaland. Norrland is the northernmost region, known for its vast forests, mountains, and sparse population. It includes the famous Lapland, where the indigenous Sami people live and where you can see the Northern Lights.
Svealand is located in the central part of Sweden and is home to the capital city, Stockholm. This region is characterized by its lakes and forests, as well as a mix of urban and rural areas. Götaland, in the south, features a milder climate and is known for its agricultural land, coastal cities, and the city of Gothenburg.
